GAME PROGRAMMER

About you:

You want to realize games that have meaning and have a passion for game software architecture.

2+ years of professional game programming experience or similar portfolio experience

Proficiency in Unity and C#
Can work autonomously but still teamwork-motivated

Studied game-related field or equivalent related experience

Minimum C1 or equivalent English language proficiency

Knowledge of Git and JSON

Experience in working with UI/UX development

Teamwork-driven and a passion for gamedev with societal subjects

Plus, if you have:

4+ years of game development experience
Released commercial game or equivalent experience
Experience with Articy tool or Dialogue Systems

Worked on game development for Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, XBOX and Playstation platforms
DevOps, CI/CD knowledge

Passion for narrative, story-rich and roleplaying games
Analytics knowledge

Knowledge and previous research about the 30s, 40s, 50s

3+ years of professional game programming or equivalent experience

About the job

As a member of the Torpor Games team, you will be responsible for developing the Suzerain and The Conformist product
Work in the intersection of design, content, and art to help others excel

You will be porting the game to different devices and testing them

Assisting and being part of The Conformist vertical slice development and production phase

A key element will be to build on existing systems and adapt them to improve the game

The full-time position will start with a probation period of 6 months. The position is in-office but has two work-from-home days of your choosing. The start date is 1st of July 2024 and the end date is the 1st of July 2025.
