About Torpor Games

The Berlin-based team of 18 launched The Kingdom of Rizia premium DLC on PC in March 2024, which was recently nominated for Best Story at the 2024 German Dev Awards. Torpor Games continues to expand its fictional universe, delivering more politically engaging narrative experiences.
Torpor Games is working on a prequel called, The Conformist, a narrative roleplaying game set in the 1930s in which the player guides Orwin - a propagandist working for the government of Sordland - in an attempt to discover his path in the capital.
Based on the Suzerain universe, players step into the city of Holsord, discovering the country of Sordland and its people caught in the turbulence of a newly established military government under President Tarquin Soll. Players must juggle their propagandist obligations to their superiors, their ambitions, and their families whilst avoiding the scrutiny of the state – or aiding the resistance against them.
